The idea for Spring Street Books was originally conceived in the Mills 2 common room in the spring of 2008.
SpringStreetBooks.org was purchased and work began on October 1st 2008 by Joey Kiernan, class of 2011. Six days later, a preliminary beta site was released to the Williams community on a WSO discussion.
The current version of Spring Street Books is the result of the hard work of dozens of Williams students, in particular 3 members of the class of 2014. A big thanks to everyone who helped to make this possible by spreading the word about Spring Street Books. As a reminder, students on book grants are not able to purchase books on springstreetbooks.org, however, other Amazon purchases may be made using our site!
